It was more like 1 second of fame, but it still counts :)
Don't you think that the statement of the reporter was way too exaggerated, saying that this will affect "how many people you will invite for Thanksgiving Dinner"? Do you really think that this change will have a significant impact on people's decision?
"Will this affect how many people you will invite for thanksgiving dinner? " Naaah... but I guess reporters are always trying to figure out how to relate these obscure financial market developments to everyday life, and to the holiday at hand! Having said that, it could, however, affect the big financial decisions, like how much to borrow and on what terms.
